Cheesy Going was a concept that was put into production for the GJL Parade Fall Game Jam 2021 in which we had a week to make a game.
Unfortunately the game was never finished however, the event provided a good opportunity to learn some new skills as well as to collaborate with some awesome people.
The Game in question was called Cheesy Going, an 80s action movie inspired game that revolved around the main character Phil Cheeseman leaving his normal mundane life behind in pursuit of a cheese obsessed rampage in order to steal a large amount of cheese from a rapper living in a near by mansion, all whilst cracking cheese based puns and one liners.
The game was to have an 80s neon inspired colour palette with vibrant hues of pinks, purples and blues, and was to be a top down shooter inspired in its visual style by games such as Hotline Miami and Katana Zero with a similar level of gore.
On this particular project I was the lead character artist and animator.
