The Immortal Wanderer
A wandering immortal, roaming from village to village, place to place recording all he can and offering his services to those in need.
This project was a personal project with the goal of finalising a design for a character of mine called the Immortal Wanderer. This character is one that is near and dear to me, have been writing and working on in my spare time for years fleshing out the world and reworking various design traits. This variant of the character is a rework of a design I did back in 2019 when I featured him in a comic I wrote called tales of the collapse, I wanted to see if i have grown as a artist since then, and to depict this character in a new light.

To get to this point research was conducted into Viking, Roman, Medieval and Military clothing with items chosen that would fit the character and be practical in a post collapse world.

Low maintenance simple armour and clothing was chosen so that a lone traveler could fix it with ease.
Work in progress of the final render with rough sketches of the poses visible. The first two poses show the standard front and back view whilst i wanted the third one to not only showcase the face from the side but also add a bit of personality.

Basic simple design with viking inspired clothing, easy to maintain and no specialist required if something breaks or tares.
